After a Long Day

Some people's entire livelihoods depend on modified bicycles.

For some, like this couple, its a fruit stand... and a ride home after a long day.

colleen's Gravatar I once had a bike for my only mode of transportation for a year or two. My boyfriend at the time who I lived with had gone from a Volkswagon Bug to a stick shift Carmen Ghia that I didn't know how to drive. I used my bike to go to my job at a day care every day. I liked it except for when in rained. I had a long black raincoat and one time a kid from the daycare saw me on my bike gliding down a hill and later told me that I looked like the witch from The Wizard of Oz.
